About \TeX^4Web
\TeX^4Web is a web markup language based on
\TeX and
La\TeX. It supports numerous familiar
La\TeX commands and a few additional ones.
Supported La\TeX commands and environments
- Almost all math commands and environments (including AMS extensions)
- Almost all font selection commands (like \bf, \textbf, \large, etc.)
- Labels and references: \label, \ref, \cite, \href, \url
- Lists: itemize, enumerate, description, thebibliography
- Environments: center, flushleft, flushright, quote, quotation, verse
- Float environments: table and figure
- Tables: tabular environment
- Images: \includegraphics command
Including images in the documents
The \includegraphics command accepts any URL as an argument. It allows you to include any image published on the web. When editing definitions, you can also upload your local images using the form bellow the definition editor. You can include uploaded image by just entering its name as an argument for \includegraphics command.
ScienceWISE specific commands
\TeX^4Web editor on ScienceWISE includes two additional commands:
- \cref[display name]{concept name} - link to a concept from ScienceWISE ontology
- \dref[display name]{definition title} - link to a definition from ScienceWISE ontology
