## Scalar Singlet Dark Matter

A model of thermally produced Cold Dark Matter, where the DM candidate is given by a singlet scalar field with $Z_2$ symmetry $S\to -S$. The stability of the candidate is guaranteed by the symmetry (which should not be broken spontanneously). The only interaction of the field with the SM is via the scalar potential (Higgs portal)
